About Myra

Myra McBain was raised in Santa Cruz, playing on the beach of the California coast. After attending Cabrillo College, a good friend of Myra’s mentioned that she would be great in the mortgage business. Taking this advice to heart in 1987, Myra began her journey into the mortgage industry.

After college, Myra married and moved from Santa Cruz to Truckee in 1978 where she and her husband were self-employed for 15 years in the construction industry. The family moved to Santa Rosa and in 1989 Myra became a licensed real estate agent. Myra worked for First Priority Financial for 15 years until it sold to Caliber Home Loans in July of 2016. In February 2018, Stearns Home Loans recruited Myra to work for us based on her successful history of closing over 500 Loans.
 

Myra has been married for 50 years, raised three sons and spoiled two grandchildren with her love. She is organized, tenacious, solution oriented and a good listener. Her work in the mortgage industry has refined her communication skills and her success is due to her devotion to her client’s best interests. In addition to closing over 500 loans, Myra and her husband have purchased, renovated and sold numerous homes in the last 20 years.

In her free time, Myra enjoys spending time at the ocean, reading, long walks on the beach with her husband and her dog Buddy, and camping. Although nothing can compare to playing with her grandchildren and sitting poolside with a good book!
