Astrid is a charming and caring woman. Quick to smile, Astrid is known for creating long lasting friendships with her clients. She believes in putting people first and following through when she says she will do something. She is open-minded, resilient, dependable and hardworking which is a powerful combination that makes her unstoppable in the mortgage business. She is valued and respected by her coworkers for her wisdom in life and in the mortgage industry.

Astrid was born in the Netherlands and moved to the United States when she turned three years old. Having grown up in Burlingame, also known as the City of Trees, Astrid developed a love for nature and the beauty that it holds. She enjoys hiking, biking and other outdoor activities.

Throughout the years, she has made it a priority to stay up to date on all the new information in the industry. She takes continuing education each year so that she can remain up to date and knowledgeable to better serve her clients.   She is respected for her good communication skills, her expansive knowledge about all types of mortgages, and her easy going personality that makes her a great listener and easily relatable.

Balance is the key to everything and Astrid has developed an amazing ability to balance work and her home life. Astrid got married to her wonderful husband Mark and moved up to Sonoma County to settle in and raise a family. She has raised two children Alisha and Ross, who attended Analy High School in Sebastopol and she has raised them with patience and kindness while excelling at work. She and her husband Mark were very active in 4H with their children which allowed them to be of service to the community. In her free time Astrid enjoys reading, shopping, RVing and traveling, especially to her favorite spot in Hawaii.

After many years working at Bank of America as a Mortgage Loan Officer and Bank Center Manager, she had developed a reputation as the woman who could get it done. She heard a friend talking about Stearns and she thought it sounded like a great place to work. In 2010 she moved to Stearns Lending to continue exploring her true passion of helping people find a home loan that would allow them to purchase a place that they could make memories in for years to come. As a woman who values family relationships and the memories they share, Astrid wants to help others achieve that dream.
